Monday 6 December 2010

hey.

Its -11 degrees celsius outside atm, which is pretty cold for this time of year where I live in Scotland ... also been off school for over a week now due to the snow, really unusual thing for the schools in our area to all close. They opened this morning but with little success, I was only in 4 classes before we were sent home.
My friend Taylor's mum is from Canada, and I think she finds it funny how the whole town stops cause of some snow. Our council just doesn't have the resources to deal with it, so its understandable, yet still funny that everyone goes crazy all of a sudden. I'm a Sales Representative for Avon Cosmetics in my area, so I thought I would trek out into the cold tonight to do deliveries. I swear that that had to be seriously the coldest Avon round I've ever done. Upon arriving at one customers door, I was met with the words "You're no feart, are you?" (for any non-scots reading this, that means, "You're not scared, are you?".

I think its odd that something so beautiful causes so much trouble for us. Its both a blessing, and a terrible annoyance. Nonetheless, I have been busily snapping away on my wee Diana Mini Camera. When I develop the photographs I shall post, but in the meantime, here's some images of stuff I like today. :)

Shall have some of my own images for you soon anyhow.
Snow-covered love for now,
Fiona.
